I recently asked GPT to help me study for the U.S. citizenship civics test. It insisted Biden was still president, placed me in the wrong state and county when marking my local elected officials, and even mixed in questions that arenβt part of the official 100. Despite repeated corrections, it reverted to wrong answers and re-marked my daily tests multiple times. Thankfully, I passed the real test!
We like to describe probabilistic v deterministic to non-tech clients as:
old computing: 1 + 1 = 2
AI computing 1 + 1 ~ 2
the key question is how wide is the ~ is it 1 to 3, 0 - 4, etc?
